Renée Hogeland (born in Haarlem, The Netherlands) completed her studies at the Utrecht College of the Arts in 1981 with a specialisation in monumental art. She has worked as a professional artist ever since.
Hogeland primarily paints with feeling and passion. These elements can be traced back in her temperamentally way of painting, in the use of her colours and in the chosen subjects.
Her paintings, mostly acrylics on linen, are always the result of a creative process in which her intuition plays a leading role.
